MyCOM is a platform of electronic commerce mostly used by business entities and affiliated consumers to ease electronic commerce and businesses. Generally, such usage does not imply the collection of personal information from individuals. MyCOM still acknowledges the importance of privacy as well as the importance of keeping confidenciality of personal information. This privacy policy is applied to all products and services provided by us and establishes a way in which we may collect, use and divulge information regarding users at MyCOM. Our services and products may be used through a mobile device, whether through mobile applications or mobile-optimized websites. This privacy policy is applied also on such usage of our services and products. All terms  not defined in this document will have the meaning attributed to them in the Terms of Use of the Site, which may be found on the web and app

1.1 Users’ privacy is important to us and we have taken actions to ensure that we do    not collect more user information than what it is necessary to us


1.2 Information including but not restricting, username, address, phone number, fax number, e-mail address, ( Registration Information) may be required at the moment users are registering or purchasing a product or want more information on businesses, industries and institutions affiliated with MyCOM


1.3 With regard to payment services and collection of necessary information to manage this process, including but not restricting, bank account numbers, billing and delivery information, credit/debit (Account Information) may be collected, among other things, to facilitate buying and selling, as well as the settlement of the purchase price of products or services exchanged through MyCOM


1.4 From time to time,  we may collect information about our users and potential users during trade fairs, industries events and other functions. The information that may be collected in these events may include but not restrict, username, address, phone number, fax number and e-mail address ( “Event Information”)

1.5   Registering and retaining registers of activities of purchase and browsing of users in our platform, including but not restricting I.P addresses, browsing patterns and behaviour patterns of purchasers. In addition, we collect statistical information about MyCOM and visitors, including but not restricting, IP addresses, browser software, operating system, hardware and software attributes, pages viewed, number of sessions and unique visitors (“ Information Visualization ").



1.6  Process of registration, account information, activities, global profile of the company, information on  events, and information on browsing in general referred to commercial entities, are placed on the web ("Data of companies")  and constitute browsing information that is needed to be displayed to customers



1.7 It is mandatory for MyCOM companies to provide certain categories of business and personal data ( as it is specified at the moment of registration). It is possible that the registration process might not be completed in the event that companies do not provide any or sufficient professional or personal data marked as mandatory.






      2.1 If  users provide personal information to us, there is the understanding that we have been authorized to collect, retain and use personal data for the following purposes:


  1. Verify their identity
  2. Verify their elegibility to register as users at MyCOM
  3. Process their registration as users which provides them of an ID log-in at MyCOM and maintenance and management of their registration
  4. That it provides service to customers and it answers their questions, comments, claims or disputes
  5. To facilitate communication between purchasers and sellers at MyCOM and the processing of their transactions on the web and app
  6. Do research or statistical analysis in order to improve the content and design of MyCOM, to improve our offers of services and products and for commercial and promotional purposes
  7. Subject to obtaining their consent, by virtue of applicable law, facilitate their phone number, address, e-mail address, fax number and other information (marketing information), to provide notices, surveys, products alerts, communication and other marketing materials with regard to good and services offered by MyCOM, including but not restricting affiliated sellers at MyCOM
  8. If users voluntarily register information at MyCOM for its publication on the web and app through publication tools, including but not restricting, company profile, products catalog, offers catalog, certified profile and discussion forums, it is understood that they have given their consent for the publication of such information on MyCOM’s web or app
  9. Statements which may be necessary for any of the aforementioned purposes or as required by law, regulations and guidelines or in connection with any potential investigation, claims or lawsuits taken against us                      








3.1 Additionally,  users accept that we can reveal and transfer their personal data to service providers contracted by us and/or of other affiliate companies of the MyCOM group to help with the provision of our services including but not limiting data entry, database management, promotions, products and services of alerts, delivery services, payment extension services, authentication of subscriptions and verification services and logistic services (“ Service Providers”). These service providers have a confidentiality obligation with us, and only personal data is allowed to be used according to specific purposes specified in point 2.0 above, and not for their own ends.



3.2 Users accept that we  may disclose and transfer (for the purposes specified in point 2.0 above), their personal data to other companies and affiliates or their designated service providers of the MyCom group, which comprises a group of companies operating online, mobile markets and business-to-business trade as well as cloud storage and other services.



3.3 When necessary we may also disclose and transfer  personal data to our professional advisors, law enforcement agencies, insurers, government and regulation and other organizations for the purposes specified previously in point 2.0



3.4 All personal data provided by users will be retained by us and accessible by our employees, the service providers hired by us and third parties referred to in points 3.1 and 3.2 and 3.3 above, in favor or in relation to any of the purposes indicated in point 2.0 above



3.5 All voluntary information can be made public at MyCom and therefore accessible by any Internet user. Any voluntary information that is revealed, becomes public information and users waive any right to ownership (including but not restricting the rights of confidentiality and copyrights) in such information. Users must be careful when deciding to include personal or confidential information in voluntary information that they send to us.



3.7 We may provide statistical information to third parties, but when we do,we do not provide personally identifiable information without the users’ permission.







4.1. By virtue of applicable law, users have the right to access personal information and may request correction of data at any moment. If users have a question about their privacy policy or if they desire to access or correct their personal data, they may send their written request to the HOLDER’s address indicated at the beginning of this document


4.2 In accordance to applicable laws, we reserve the right of charging a reasonable rate for the processing of any data access or request for correction.  






5.1 We use “ cookies” to store specific information about users and track of their visits to MyCOM. It is not uncommon for websites to use cookies to improve identification of its users.


For users registered at MyCOM: A "cookie" is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser and is stored on your computer's hard drive. A cookie can be sent to the hard disk of your computer only if you have access to the sites that use a computer. If  the cookie is not deactivated or deleted, every time you use the same computer to access MyCom, our web servers will be notified of  your visit, so we may have knowledge of your visit and the pattern of your use.


In general, we use cookies to identify you and they allow us to (i) access your information or account information so you do not have to re-enter it; (ii) collect statistical information on your use.


It may be determined if and how a cookie will be accepted by the browser configuration that is installed on the computer you are using to access the sites. If desired, you may change these settings. When setting your preferences on the browser, you may accept all cookies or you may choose to receive one notification when a cookie is sent, or you may choose to reject all cookies. If you reject all cookies by selecting the function of disabling cookies on your  browser, you may need to re-enter the information on sites more often and certain MyCom features may not be available.






6.1 MyCOM and its content are not addressed to minors( under 18 years of age) nor is it the sale of any of our products or services. However, there is no way to distinguish the age of people accesing MyCOM. If a minor has provided us with personal information without the consent of parents or of a guardian, the parent or guardian must communicate with our Legal Department at the address given in item 4.0 above to remove the information.






7.1.We use commercially reasonable security methods to prevent unauthorized access to MyCom in order  to maintain the accuracy of data and ensure the correct use of  the information we have. For users registered at MyCOM: the register of your account information is protected by a password. We recommend that you do not reveal your password to anyone. Our staff will never ask you for your password on a phone call or an unsolicited e-mail.  If you share a computer with other people, you must choose to save your login information ( for example, user ID and password) on that shared computer. Remember to log out from your account and close your browser when you have finished your session. There is no data transmission over the internet or any wireless network that can be guaranteed or can be defined as perfectly safe. As a result, while we try to protect the information we have for you, we can not guarantee the security of any information transmitted to us and you do so at your own risk.





8.1. Any modification of this privacy policy will be communicated by us amending and updating the document at MyCOM, indicating also the date of the last upgrade. Once published at MyCOM the new privacy policy shall become effective inmediately. Users accept that any information we have about them ( as described in this privacy policy, whether or not it is collected before or after the new privacy policy came into effect) will be governed by the latest version of the privacy policy.

9.1 For registered users at MyCOM:  Your privacy is important to us. We appreciate the confidence you have placed in us. We are committed to protecting and safeguarding all personal information you provide to us. This document explains how we use and handle your personal information. It also explains how to contact us in case there are questions about your personal information. MyCOM provides support services of marketing/ information to companies through websites and mobile apps, and through other online platforms, such as affiliate partners websites and social media. The following information applies to all these platforms. MyCOM may occasionally update this privacy statement, therefore, visit this page regularly during last modifications. If you do not agree with this privacy statement, you must suspend the use of our services


9.2 What type of personal information does MyCOM use? When users register, they must provide names, e-mail addresses, zip codes, cities where they live, cell phone numbers. We may also request payment information or complete description of their businesses. In order to manage your business easily they have to create an account and register. This allows you to save personal settings, leave comments and manage future activities. When you visit our websites, we can collect certain information such as their IP address, the browser you are using and all information connected with the operating system of your computer, app version, language setting and web pages you have visited. If you use a mobile device, we can also collect information about the device, settings, characteristics, latitude, longitude. In addition, we may collect information about when you use specific services of social media or the platform to its full extent.


9.3 Why does MyCOM Ltd collect, use and share personal information? The improvement of our services. Finally, we use all personal information for analysis to improve our services, enrich  users’ experience and to improve functionality and quality of our online service.


9.4 How may MyCOM Ltd share your information with third parties? In some cases, we may share your personal information with third party service suppliers( e.g data managers) to handle your personal information on our behalf only. Among the objectives of data management we could mention: Payment simplification by using electronic vouchers, the sending of marketing materials or service analysis. These managers shall be required to respect non-disclosure agreements and the use of personal information for their own purposes or any other purposes shall be prohibited. Competent authorities: We may share your personal information with the police or other government authorities when it is required by law or if it is strictly necessary to prevent, detect or prosecute any criminal act or fraud. Our partners: We work with business partners around the world in order make instalations known and help our business partners advertise services.  



9.5 How does MyCOM Ltd use member classifications? After using one of the services on the affiliate merchant  we send an invitation to make a judgement. The invitation may ask you to provide information about structure, environment and service.
